The players start by running a almost bankrupt Bounty Hunting business in the town of Daevenbrook. Thran walks runs in one morning informing them of some trouble at in the town square. Sax has started some trouble in town attacking some villagers and killing two guards. After the players get Sax (Dead or Alive), and bring him to Baron Albert for a small reward, they return to their abode to be met with a note tacked to their door about eviction unless paid. The next day they are met by the town guards who tell them of some suspicious activity in the grave yard. Needing work, the players go to the graveyard and find 3 grave robbers, one dead, and two panicking. After the killing the two survivors, the players notice that the other dead robber’s body is shrunk and disfigured. They notice the grave they were digging up and realize it has a passage leading underground.
